The Aquanaut Dive Club was set up in 1995 to provide PADI divers with a club geared towards UK diving.

We are an independent club, not owned or run by a dive centre. Our main purpose is to organise a varied and exciting programme of diving within the UK.

The club is run by founder, Charlie Thellusson and UK diving organiser, John Davies with support from four other PADI divemasters.

Charlie is a PADI divemaster and TDI trimix qualified with over 700 dives logged both in the UK and abroad.
His trips abroad include the Red Sea, the Caribbean, the Maldives, Indonesia, Cocos Island and the Galapagos Islands.

 

John is also a PADI divemaster and TDI trimix diver with over 300 logged dives in the UK, ranging from the Scilly Isles to the Orkneys.

 

Both enjoy the rigorous challenges of diving in the UK and agree that the great variety of Marine life, the dramatic underwater topographies and the infinite variety of wrecks to be found, make the UK one of the most rewarding places in the world to dive!
